Our team at Hay Creek Companies is committed to solving the material handling needs of its customers. We anticipate our customer's needs, with consideration for how transportation, handling, storage, and how the general marketplace will impact those needs. Staying current with the latest innovations in the industry helps us deliver the best solutions and service to our customers.
New Pallets: Hay Creek Pallet will build to your specifications any new pallet you need. Our computerized design software can assist you in designing a pallet that meets your shipping and unit load requirements while determining the most economical solution. Our new pallets are produced in large quantities using a state-of-the-art Storti mechanical nailing machine and our Viking automatic pallet assembly machine. We use the newest available technology in the industry, providing a fast, efficient assembly process while maintaining high quality standards. Smaller quantity orders of custom sizes are produced with precision-built jigs and hand-held pneumatic nailers.
Reconditioned Pallets: A quality reconditioned pallet, when acceptable for shipping requirements, provides the same function as a new pallet but costs less. Hay Creek Pallet is one of the area's largest sources of refurbished pallets. We stock the standard GMA 48 X 40 in #1 and #2 (#2’s have a double or repaired stringer). Our used pallet cores are inspected and repaired accordingly on our assembly line using the latest equipment available in the industry, making the refurbishing process as fast and efficient as possible. Our team members take pride in their workmanship by paying attention to detail to ensure a high quality product.
Remanufactured Pallets: If you cannot find a reconditioned pallet in the size you need and you would rather not pay the higher price of a new pallet, a remanufactured pallet can be the solution. This is a very effective way to lower pallet costs. A pallet remanufactured with all used components is known as a “hybrid”. When a combination of new stringers and used deck boards are used, or vice versa, the pallet is known as a “combo."
Pallet Services
Heat Treated Pallets
Hay Creek Pallet provides onsite heat treating services for our customers. We will custom heat treat pallets for your company. A heat treated pallet is one which has been heated at the core to 56 degrees Celsius for a minimum of 30 minutes. The pallet is then stenciled with the number and logo of Hay Creek Pallet certifying the heat treating service. Pallets used in certain industries and particularly pallets shipped internationally, require heat treating. We Buy Pallets
Hay Creek Pallet will buy your damaged or unused pallets. Our Pallet Inventory Management Service provides businesses with a reliable and economical solution for eliminating their damaged and unused pallets along with other wood waste that takes up valuable production space. We provide drop trailers for you to load waste onto. When it's full, we will drop you an empty one and haul the waste back to our plant. The load is then graded and we pay you for any pallet cores that can be reworked, at a pre-determined fair price.
